Information We Collect: Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic.


Typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry.

Terms of services 

– Why do I need to learn Pinyin?
While Mandarin is the actual spoken language, Pinyin is a tool to help you learn Mandarin pronunciation. It uses the Latin alphabet and makes it easier to speak, write, and read Mandarin.

– How much is the workbook?
A digital workbook is included free with your subscription. Paper workbooks are available for purchase separately. 

– What is meant by ‘tonal language’ or ‘intonation’?
Intonation is the slight rising or falling sound of a person’s voice when they speak. For example, in English the voice goes ‘up’ at the end of a question. This is intonation.
With Chinese, each word uses one of four different tones in its pronunciation. This is what makes Mandarin a tonal language.

– How soon can I expect results and be able to speak fluently?
With all language learning, you get out of it what you put into it. If you only listen to The Jing, you won’t get as much out of it as you would if you actively participate.
Try to have fun with language learning, rather than making it a chore. At Mandarin9, we work to make our materials engaging and helpful for you on your language journey. You might be surprised at how fast you begin to pick up Mandarin.
